National Pagan Skills Leadership Conference
Scholarship Information & Application

Each year the PLSC Planning Committee offers scholarships to help defray the costs of conference attendance. These scholarships are made possible by proceeds from auctions at Pomona’s Ball, and are awarded in amounts up to 50% of the conference registration cost.

In order to apply for a scholarship, please fill out the form below. You will also need to submit a sliding scale deposit of $5 to $20 (you decide where you fit in on the scale) toward the balance of your registration cost. No scholarship application will be considered without receipt of this deposit. Deposits will be returned if no scholarship is awarded. Make your deposit payable to Carolina Spirit Quest (our financial trustee), and mail to Carolina Spirit Quest, NPLSC Scholarship Committee, P.O. Box 61335, Durham, NC 27115.

Deadline for application and receipt of deposit is May 1, 2008; however, we encourage you to apply early, as there are always more applicants than there are scholarships available.

All applications will be reviewed by the scholarship committee. Please understand that we cannot award scholarships to all applicants, nor can we guarantee that an applicant will receive the entire amount requested. Again, there is an award limit of 50% of the current costs of conference registration. A waiting list will be created once all scholarships have been awarded, and any forfeited, unclaimed, or unused scholarships will be offered to those on the list, in order of their receipt.

If you are selected to receive a scholarship, you will be notified via e-mail by May 15, 2008. The acceptance letter will contain further instructions, including the deadlines for acceptance and registration. If either of these deadlines is not met, the scholarship will be withdrawn, and offered to another applicant.

Please note that the 2008 deadline for registration and payment of the balance of registration costs is June 15, 2008; be sure to budget your portion of registration for that date so as not to lose your scholarship!
